Repairment and Restoration of Buddha Statues
I learned not only the skills and knowledge of carving through the research and the production of ancient Buddhism statues, but also how to respect statues by learning the intentions of the artists and the backgrounds of the production.

I repair and restore both the construction and the appearance of statues respecting the original production and choosing treatments that best fit. The repairment and restoration process varies depending on the materials, structures, conditions of the statues, and the clients’ intention.Please feel free to contact me.
Repairment / Restoration Process
There is no fixed process because the conditions of statues vary. First, I will ask clients about the conditions of the statues and the clients’ intention, and then I will make suggestions of what’s needed. Dusting, filling out the missing parts - I provide consultation to any requests. Please feel free to contact me.
Periodical Maintenance
Periodical maintenance is recommended in order to prevent repairs which leads to good preservation. Owners who want their statues checked-up once a year, or every few years, or who want them to get dusted are welcome to contact, if not thinking about profound repairment.
