Production
Here is the basic production procedure.
- 1. Planning
Planned on paper and sometimes do modeled with clay. Clients may check them if needed. - 2. Purchase of the material, cutting
Purchase and preparation of wood (in case of the wooden statues). Depending on the type of wood, I go and look for a good log fit to be carved, and then attend the factory myself to make sure the best part of the log is to be cut out. - 3. Ceremony
If requested, the log could go through blessing before being carved. - 4. Carving
We keep in contact while carving. Please make sure we’re going in the right direction (regarding the detailed shape, appearance, etc.) Currently, it takes about 2 years for a standing statue with 60cm height. - 5. Delivery and signature
If requested, we could hollow out inside the statue. Also we could put signatures of clients’ names, background of the production, the year of the production, etc. inside or on the bottom surface. - 6. Finishing
We could put colors or gold leaf on the surface, or for the statues with natural wooden surfaces, it will be smoothed intently not with sandpapers but only with carving knives.

Delivery
Finish the whole process by delivering and placing the statue. A ceremony to put a spirit in the statue can be performed if desired.
